This 4-star Parador is housed in El Viejo Molino, a fully-renovated mill set in Isabel La Católica Park, a short walk from the main square and San Lorenzo Beach. The city's main historical sites, as well as the bustling shopping streets, bars, and restaurants are all within easy reach and the city's football ground is just next door.
The Parador boasts a splendid garden with cobbled pathways leading directly into the public park which has delightful lakeside walks.
Rooms are spacious and decorated and furnished in a classic style in relaxing tones with large windows.
Strategically set right at the centre of the Asturian coast, the historic city of Gijón provides a great base to discover the region's beaches and the Picos de Europa mountains beyond. The city itself has two wonderful beaches, an old-town and an interesting collection of 'Modernista' buildings. The headland at Cimadevilla has Roman remains, impressive sculptures and provides stunning views of the dramatic coastline.

The Parador’s ‘Llar de Molín’ restaurant, which has a lovely terrace, showcases Asturian gastronomy featuring hearty local dishes like the famous ‘fabada’ bean stew, local fish and seafood or lighter snacks – all washed down with delicious local cider.
Breakfast is a buffet served in the restaurant (or terrace) from 7:30 to 11:00.
