Walk the Cami de Ronda coastal path, explore the many delights of Barcelona and the spectacular Roman remains of Tarragona, savour the Cava in the Penedés, watch the flamingos in the Delta and finish up with the fine wines of Priorat – all without straying far from the sunny Mediterranean!

Day 1 to 3 - Costa Brava
- Fishing villages and beach hopping
- Walk the Camí de Ronda, all along the Costa Brava

Day 4 & 5 - Barcelona City

Day 6 & 7 - Alt Penedés - Cava Country

- Visit the Modernista 'Cathedrals of Wine'
- Witness the death-defying 'castellers' human towers
- Hit the coast at nearby Sitges, or unspoilt Altafulla
- Year-round hiking among the vineyards
Day 8 - Roman Tarragona & Modernist Reus
- Spectacular remains of Roman Tarraco - among Spain's finest
- Take a walking tour of the medieval old town, set amongst Roman remains
- Reus, a treasure trove of Modernist architecture
- Join in the local Vermouth culture - see where it's made in Reus
- Try the city beaches or head south to Tamait and Altafulla, just nearby
Day 9 to 11 - Ebro Delta and Tortosa

Getting there
This coastal tour of Catalonia is designed as a one-way trip, taking advantage of the excellent flight connections to Girona in the north of Catalonia (Costa Brava) and Reus in the south (Costa Dorada). It can be enjoyed in either direction or the stages can be interleaved should you wish to fly in and out of the same airport (including Barcelona).
