Coastal hotel in picturesque fishing port
Former fishermens' cottages where the nets were made and repaired, this gem of a hotel, right on the dramatic coastline of Western Asturias, in the picturesque port of Puerto de Vega, was converted with a loving and artistic eye by its owner, Milagros.
With a nautical theme throughout and all its stylish, individually decorated bedrooms with sea views, her magic touch has created a museum piece almost, but with every modern comfort and detail in mind.
The cosy fireplace in the beautiful living room, in cooler months, invites, whilst the garden is a delight to be in in warmer weather.
The friendly and relaxing atmosphere, the warmth of Milagros and her staff and her delicious breakfasts with home-made and locally sourced products, will ensure that you will feel that desired "sea of sensations", making your stay a truly memorable one.
Just a five minute walk from the hotel, you have an excellent choice of good fish and seafood restaurants and bars in quirky and interesting Puerto de Vega. Further afield, you also have the gastronomic delights of the larger ports of Luarca and Navia.
For the energetic there is a bracing coastal walk along the cliffs and the beautiful, unspoilt beach of Playa Frexulfe, is under two kilometres away.
